We are hiring field technicians at Pest Pros of Michigan. Both in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. We are growing rapidly, which means lots of opportunity.

We pay straight commission. There’s an opportunity to earn $50,000-$80,000/ year or more with experience. We are a meritocracy, we eat what we kill. We pay sales commissions and bounties and bonuses and you name it.. There is lots of opportunity for the right person. Our main office is based in Kalamazoo.

$50,000-$80,000 yearly

• Investigate each location for the warning signs of any unwanted pests, such as rodents, vermin, bed bugs, or termites
• Comply with all safety guidelines by wearing protective equipment and following the instructions for each pest control product
• Mix the correct amount of chemicals in the applicator based on your measurements of the infested area

A Pest Pros Certified Field Specialist plays a key role in our business. This role requires individuals who share similar values and can uphold standards in character including:

• Field Technician-Complete all 5 Michigan certifications
• Satisfactorily complete the Pest Pros Certification Intermediate Program. Actively participate in seminars and training opportunities
• Meet daily and monthly production goals set by the company each month including team and individual goals
• Conduct operations in agreement with training and operating procedures
• Record Keeping, Administration, and Logistics
• Maintain exceptional client records by keeping detailed notes of services performed
• Provide written recommendations for follow-up services, documentation, and other recommended services. These must be completed on-site as the service is completed
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, electronics, and supplies. Keep an inventory of supplies and equipment on hand and resupply and equip per SOP and training
• Collect and account for payments and turn them into finance. Turn in any expense receipts for reimbursement and proof of credit card spending
• Client Relations, Internal Relations, and Sales
• Actively Participate in sales, communication, and relational development training
• Answer incoming calls, slack, and emails and return calls within 1 hour during business hours. Check and reply to emails daily
• Schedule services and follow-ups with and for customers as recommended
• Utilize promotional tools and merchandise as directed by management
• Participate in opportunities to capture customer touches
• Identify opportunities for value-added upsell opportunities. Generating sales in the specialty divisions

• Physically fit enough to lift 50 lbs and climb into confined spaces regularly
• Current U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
• Passed the pest control license exam provided by the Department of Agriculture
• Good customer service skills
• High school graduate or equivalent
